EMU Strike Creates Additional Crafting Opportunities

I decided to take full advantage of my July/August break from school and thrust myself into multiple craft projects. Of course, they're all gifts for people so I can't go into details. I think that's going to be a common occurrance for me.

The rag rug is going quite well. I'm actually very close to being finished. I have about 20 more rows to complete and then finish the binding/edges. I've decided to save it as a gift for the upcoming holiday season, but it's going to be hard to hold onto it...

For those that haven't heard, EMU faculty are on strike. So, I showed up for classes today to find that *all* my courses this semester are with faculty (not adjuncts or lecturers). So no class for Candice today. I think I'm going to take advantage of this time to do some more crafting!
