Sunday

Sunday is my new favorite day of the week. It is the day I have set aside for myself to craft. Nothing else is allowed to interfere. If it didn't get done the other six days of the week, it can wait until Monday.

You wouldn't believe how hard it was to follow for the first time this past weekend. I also didn't realize how much I needed to be a little selfish.

I didn't get anything finished, but I got quite a bit started. I am working on holiday ornaments. The pieces below are cut from a men's oxford shirt that had seen better days. I am using the sleeve to make some cute little ornaments I affectionately refer to as "puff balls." My mom taught me how to make these when I was little. I think it was my first hand sewing project.

It's good to be back. And just in time. Another mini-craft show is in the planning stages (more info later).
