various thoughts

The craft show last weekend went better than anticipated. Since it was my first non-family craft show, my goal was to simply sell enough stuff to cover the cost of the booth. Hey, let's be realistic - the MI economy is in the crapper and there's no major gift giving holiday on the nearby horizon. I was able to make a few bucks over my goal (and I handed out quite a few business cards), so I consider that a good day. I'll post pics as soon as Mel sends them to me (hint, hint).

I'm currently trying to decide which shows I want to apply for this summer. Right now the only one I'm sure I'll apply for is the Ann Arbor Artisan Market on Sundays.

I also need to get my hands on a new digital camera. My current camera works great, but it's almost eight years old and just can't do the close-up shots I need for Etsy. If you have any suggestions, let me know.

I'm off to work on those pesky passport covers again.
