is it summer already?

I'm going to pretend that it's not almost June and this is not my first blog post for 2010.

My Mom asked me to take photos of her poppies yesterday. I thought I'd share some poppy lovliness with you to brighten your day.

I'm working hard to get ready for the Relay for Life this coming weekend (June 5-6). I'm up to 7 miles at a time, but I've also started walking shorter distances more frequently as I break in a new pair of shoes. Even with all my preparation, I still plan to bring lots of pain killers just in case...
