happy new year!

Ah, another new year. The man and I celebrated by visiting the DIA for a little culture (and people watching, of course). And with all the artwork in the place created over the past centuries, it wasn't a painting or sculpture that caught my eye.

It's hard to see, but the flecks on the picture are actually metallic discs connected to what looks like fishing line. Kind of like a chandelier, but covering the whole ceiling. I could've stayed there in that fourier all day just staring up. Or at least until my neck started to hurt.

If you didn't know, I am easily distracted by shiny things.
