Maker Faire is coming!

Dreams really can come true...

Ever since I heard about Maker Faire, I've been fantasizing about the day I would attend. I must admit that I hadn't gotten past the fantasy and hadn't made plans to seek out a nearby faire. Turns out fate decided to bring it to me. I am a lucky girl - and so are Metro Detroiters.

Maker Faire Detroit will be held July 31 & August 1 at the Henry Ford Museum. It's an opportunity for makers, crafters, techies, geeks, nerds, and greenies to come together and share their creativity and knowledge with each other. Events are family-friendly and are packed with hands-on activities and demonstrations.

Advance tickets are $25/adult for one day or $44/adult for both days (the rate will be higher at the door). You can order tickets here.
