you know it's gonna be one of those days when...

...the birds are strangely quiet when you get up.

...it's warm and muggy at 6:30 a.m.

...the weather report mentions vocabulary terms like "heat index" and "ozone advisory."

...the yellow jackets are flying a little slower.

...the dog refuses to leave the basement to go outside.

...Blogger magically makes your pictures turn sideways, and you can't seem to figure out why or fix it.




Actually, the dog is smart. I've joined him in the basement today, seeking a cooler climate. And since ironing only creates heat, today is a good day to work on replenishing the envelope supply. I have a few new categories in the works, including designer handbags, shoes, cosmetics, and luxury vehicles. I hope to get these into the shop by July... Back to the basement for me. I'm beginning to melt...
