I had the idea to make myself an apron I could wear during our upcoming mini-craft fair to hold money, pens, scissors, and other knick knacks I might need. I had some leftover heavier weight cotton fabric from several other projects, so everything I needed was already in the sewing stash. So, I set out to draft a pattern and give it a good try.
The first apron turned out great, but it was a little too small for my tastes. I also ran out of the hot pink fabric and had to improvise and make one of the straps with the print (which I just love). I decided then, at 11:00 p.m., to give the apron to Mel and make another for myself. Well, then I couldn't leave out Mom, and I had plenty of fabric, so then I added another. By 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, I'd finished all three aprons.

Mel's apron.
Mom's apron.
My apron.
Jimmy likes this one better than the first (he's not one for hot pink).
