mini-craft show prep

As most of you know by now, I am hosting a mini-craft show with my Mom and Mel in a few weeks (May 3). As a distraction from my quest to find a full-time teaching position for the fall, I have been crafting like crazy for the show.

One item I'm working on is handmade envelopes from magazines. With only a few paper cuts and some handmade templates, I've managed to make over 100 of these for the show. I'll be selling them in sets of 5 and 10, and have a variety of themes (flora, purse punishment, celebrity sightings, and foodies, just to list a few). These are time consuming, but I just love the way they turn out. And each one is unique (that happens alot with handmade items).

Below are a few snapshots of part of my envelope stash I'll have ready for the craft show. And this is only half of the stash...

I am hoping I will have time to make some different stationary sets, but I'm not sure if I'll get to that. I have several other ideas that I'd like to try and make up for the show, but the clock is ticking and I suddenly find myself needing to prepare for upcoming job interviews. And if I don't get a job soon, I might get used to being home all the time...
