freebies - zipper pouches

I love free stuff. And free crafty stuff is even more awesome. If you feel the same, keep reading.

I have a few craft items that need to find a good home. I've been trying to think of a way to do this, and then I got the idea from Simbiosis (see blog link at right) - have a comment raffle! This comment raffle is for zipper pouches. I have four available - the two winners of the raffle will get their pick (1st name, 1st pick - 2nd name, 2nd pick).

The photo simply doesn't do justice to how great these look! The two on top (cats and sushi) measure approx. 6" wide by 5" tall. The two on the bottom (circle bursts and oriental flowers) measure approx. 4" wide by 3" tall - they'll fit a credit card, license, loose change, etc.

Gotta have one? Here's what you need to do:
  1. Comment on this blog post. If you haven't done this before, just go to the bottom of this post, look on the bottom right and click on "comment." You can write anything you like - which pouch you like the best, ask a question, tell me about your rotten kids/spouse/in-laws - whatever (just remember your comment will be public, which means anyone can read it!).
  2. Make sure the comment has your name in it (first names are just fine). If you don't know me personally, include your e-mail address in the comment. If you don't have a blogger account, just choose to post anonymously.
  3. Make sure you only post one comment, and you do this by Thursday, May 22 at 12:00 midnight. I'll draw a name on Friday, contact the winners for their choices (if they're not in their comments), and get your freebies in the mail next week.

Happy commenting - and good luck :-)

It's nice to see that I'm not the only one up working this early. The pouches are adorable. I think Madison would groove to her soccer jerseys being made into a tote bag. Way cool. I, too, wish that I could craft all day; but it's nice to see that my niece can! Love, Aunt Dee

Hey - love all the crafting you are doing! You've got some great projects going on. In particular, I like the T-Shirt bags. Would you be willing to commission your work if I gave you some old T-Shirts of mine? I'm thinking they would make good grocery shopping bags. I have two that I use to be "green" but I want something that I can wash occasionally and it seems T-Shirt bags would do the trick...

oooh. i love the zipper pouches - i actually had one made by someone else but its dying a slow death after three years. i love yours and am coveting them as I type. I can't decide which on I like the best but the bigger ones would be perfect for some knitting notions (tape measure, row counter, etc.) the smaller ones would be perfect as a wallet. oooh. good to see my indecisive side has not changed, huh?

Glad to see that my mom is working hard in the morning while I am driving to my internship...I love your crafty posts! Mike must think we are all nuts in our family. I wish I was allowed to craft (mom and dad say no crafting only math...lol). My sewing machine is probably crying in the corner to itself. Love you! Cousin Jenni

My crafty side is living through your blog. At this point it looks like I won't be able to crochet even one stitch for aonther 16 years...and that changes if we have any more kids! Love the pouches. Too cute! And I never would have come up with birds for those buttons. Quite creative.

I was looking again yesterday at the bibs you made for us - they're beautiful. I should do some kind of raffle for baby stuff, like when he'll be born, how much he's going to weigh, etc. But what could I give away??? Anyway, I LOVE the cat pouch and the circle burst pouch... here's hoping!! Thanks, Candice!
